This Dress Up Doll knitting pattern is an exceptional template for endless creative opportunities! I've created a Mary Jane shoe pattern that allows for a variety of finishes. This pattern is designed for solid, removable shoes! You can embroider on flowers or stars or any kind of decorative details! Double knit a heart or monogramming! Pattern is written for the solid colored shoes shown only, no doll instructions included. The other shoes were knitted from this pattern and are shown for inspiration! 
 
Though the pattern may be simple, it features a closed-toe, open top, and a strap that opens and closes for easy removal. If you are relatively new to knitting, don't sweat it! Most of the techniques used in the pattern are common, however some experience is recommended with increases, decreases, attaching sleeves, wrap-and-turns. Shoes are partially knitted in the round. 
 
Please note: I recommend using the same yarn you used to knit the doll to ensure a good fit. You will simply need to use a larger size knitting needle! You can use a different yarn, but it will need to be the same gauge as your doll yarn choice!
